#Snow snow snow

... as they sang gleefully in Holiday Inn, swinging the doors to the barn open! While Christmas was a white affair, and while technically there was no lack of snow - it was no the usual wet dregs. The rules of the game appear to have been changed, and on Tuesday 5th January 2010 at around 1220 the skies darkened and a lesser (and considerably more fun) hell was let lose, with proper powder snow falling onto North Wales - in fact so much that it resulted in us abandoning our car and walking home (hills - never good after rain and a -6C night) that day (4 hours for 6 miles with car/foot).

Here we are Friday - and while the sun has eaten away at the edges, things are pretty much all-white - with super low temperatures (apparently -9C in the car park at 5pm yesterday)... and wind building promising worse wind chill and more snow over the weekend.

Am I fed up with it yet? C'mon now - seriously? HELL NO! More please. Plans for the weekend if we get any more 1) Sledging 2) LARGE snow man/animal ontop of the hill so I can see it from home!

I have started posting the more respectable images over on zerosandones flickr account - and in the interim I will attempt to catch up here and get some added to this entry shortly :)
