For all my mocking sometimes Anglesey can be one of the most breathtaking places. Okay so there is better Irish phone signal at time, no one wants to deliver ADSL there, and you have to keep an eye out for large white weather balloons that will take you back to the village.... this aside... some good weather, and just breath it in. An august day of alternating sunshine and heavy rain like something out of Aesop's stories. Should we be moving the whole Summer thing to March/June now maybe? Finally got around to processing pictures of my trip down to Dungeness with my Father earlier in March. It's a veritable photographers playground of texture, colour, detail and decay - and also - really exposed. Brrrrr! More pictures from the Dungeness set here.

I have to say that returning to somewhere like Venice, we are both fortunate in opportunity and in that it allows you to just mooch - as opposed to map clutching speed walking like a crazed orienteer. This last weekend I took a walk out with friends to clear away some cobwebs. Having downgraded the plan for the steeper ascent of Moel Hiraddug, we headed over the trig point on Graig Fawr (big rock) which is clearly visible (if a little very tiny) from the living room.
