RAF Cosford
On our way back from Brecon we made a subtle barely perceptible out of our way journey over to RAF Cosford - Training and Research, most notably, and our goal for the day, the RAF Museum (rivalled only by Duxford - the Imperial War Museums Aviation Museum).
The light and positioning in the hangars is great for "ooo look" but not so good for photographs that you look at and think "I like that". Which is a shame since there are some interesting things to be seen. As a result my images are close cropped, focussing on detail, colour, shape. There are a fair few in that group - to excuse my fascination with planes as the best part of a decade as an Air Cadet can have this affect on you. My favourites from the group are Taxi, Power, and Reheat.
If you have not heard of the TSR2 and why it is important in our history - go and look it up now.
*and tsk tsk tsk shame on you.
