Good light
This last weekend I took a walk out with friends to clear away some cobwebs. Having downgraded the plan for the steeper ascent of Moel Hiraddug, we headed over the trig point on Graig Fawr (big rock) which is clearly visible (if a little very tiny) from the living room.
The light was low and golden, and the day starting with a distinct chill and flat grey skies was now a lush deep blue... the kind of day that in a few months time would SO say "I am cold". Patterns cast by the misted air, diffused light, shadow and light made it hard to accept with the eye, and more striking still to the lens. Added to my collection of slowly growing local images.
